The images and information contained on this web site represents a continued research effort into the Parish ancestry background, as performed by Joseph Parish and other members of the Parish family. This web site is created in an attempt to distribute this family genealogy information to members of the Parish family to promote a more elaborate understanding of our ancestry.
This Parish Family Tree web site provides an element of suspense, mystery, intrigue and of course a good dash of humor. It includes as many generations of Parish's ranging from Theodore Parish up to the present generation of Parish's as well as those families that have been married into the Parish clan.
The original home of the Parishes was at Metelyne Greece. A small island located just off of the Greek mainland in a providence of Aggiasso. From these beginnings, a single member of the family, Theodore Vasilo Asvestas (Theodore Parish) migrated to the New World.
Each person within our family tree is provided a dedicated web page with valuable content relating to links for ones parents, spouse and children. In addition, you may find entries included for relevant notes which might also link to additional information.
By selecting one of the menu options located on the left of the screen you can review the families which make up our database, historical documents or photo albums. Make certain to return often as our database is continually growing and we update the web site as we acquire new data. This site is not restricted just to the Parish surname. We realize that this was not our original name but rather it was Asvestas. My grandfather Theodoros changed his name to Parish upon his arrival in America from Greece. The site will be updated whenever new information becomes available.
